Tactile Indicator Individual Studs
Tactile Ground Surface Indicators are installed to aid the vision impaired and are applied at public, commercial, retail and industrial areas providing early warning for hazards such as ramps, stairways, escalators, travelator, public transport stations and stops. Our Tactile Indicator Studs comply with Australian/New Zealand Standard 1428.1 2009, 1428.4.1 2009 (TGSI) and NCC Section D3.8. Our Stainless Steel Tactile Studs are corrosion proof and generally come with 10 years fair wear and tear warranty.

FTI01 – Stainless Steel Flat Back Stud – It is a flat back stud and is designed to be fixed with an epoxy adhesive (no drilling)
FTI02 – Stainless Steel with 12mm Leg – It comes with 12mm leg and is designed to be fixed by drilling a hole and gluing the leg into place with an epoxy adhesive.
FTI03 – Stainless Steel Flat Back with Carborundum Top – It is a flat back stud with carborundum insert top and is designed to be fixed with an epoxy adhesive (no drilling)
FTI04 – Stainless Steel 12mm Leg with Carborundum Top – It comes with 12mm leg and Carborundum insert top and is designed to be fixed by drilling a hole and gluing the leg into place with an epoxy adhesive.
FTAC05 – Stainless Steel with Centre Hole – It comes with a hole in the centre and is designed to be fixed with a plug and screw, especially for carpet substrate.
FTI08 – Polyurethane Tactile Stud with 20mm Leg – It is a polyurethane stud that is a new generation design that overcomes problems usually associated with other plastic studs. It is designed to be fixed by drilling a hole and tap them in.
It comes in 11 standard colours to assist in luminance contrast – Black, Mid Grey, Safety Yellow, Blue, Terracotta, White, Yellow, Beige, Grey, Orange and Light Grey
